Our Mission

Our mission is to bridge human anatomy, injury mechanisms, and physical performance with core engineering principles to understand why injuries happen and how they might be prevented.

When analyzing an incident, we evaluate the forces acting on the human body and compare them to the levels of force known to produce the specific injury in question. We incorporate factors like age, sex, medical history, and occupational demands to determine an individual’s likely tolerance to those forces. Ultimately, we offer evidence-based conclusions that hold up under legal scrutiny.

Our advanced training in injury biomechanics stems primarily from more than a decade's worth of rigorous research productivity. Our education and laboratory work enables use to interpret scientific findings accurately and apply them effectively to the real-world circumstances.

We regularly publish our work in peer-reviewed journals within biomechanics, clinical science, and safety engineering, ensuring that our findings are rigorously reviewed and accessible to the professional community. This ongoing research keeps us at the forefront of the field, with specialized testing and reconstruction capabilities that can be tailored to address the needs of individual cases.

US Air Force Colonel john Stapp (1910-1999) stated following in 1971:

"This fifty-liter rawhide bag of gas, juices, jellies, gristle and threads movably suspended on more than 200 bones presided over by a cranium, seldom predictable and worst of all living, presents a challenge to discourage a computer into  incoherence.”

Stapp's statement demonstrates the complexity of what we are as humans. This complexity does not end with the human structure. We live inside a physical world governed by universal and individually-unique constraints. To make any accurate estimation of injury occurrence given the complexities of the human body and the world within which we live, specialized training and years of professional experiences are necessary - Especially for individuals involved in actionable decision making or communicating conclusions during deposition, trial testimony, or to key stakeholders. That's what we provide.
